With the success of the Toughbook 40 which is the 1st Toughbook with 14" display size, Panasonic has release the second generation of the modular Toughbook 40 MK2.

The Toughbook 40 MK2 has 4 expansion slots area: Right, Left, Palm Rest and Rear. The expansion slots would give users options such as additional ports, additional battery, additional HDD or optical drive, card slots, etc. In addition to the expansion slots, the Toughbook 40 also has user-replaceable backlit keyboard, RAM and main HDD option. With this modular systems, user has more flexibility to add additional ports or upgrades post-sales therefore ensuring even better ROI and product longevity than they had before.

The Toughbook 40 is powered by the latest Intel Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 Processors and runs Windows 11 Professional. It comes installed with 6300mAh battery which gives it operating life of up to 12 hours (24 hours if you add the optional 2nd battery - Mobile Mark 25).

The Toughbook 40 MK2 is equipped with 4x microphones providing unparalleled speech recognition accuracy. It also has an integrated top facing 95db speakers which is loud enough to hear from the back of the room. For night or dark environment user there is color-selectable backlit keyboard that can be added.

Toughbook 40 comes with the latest Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 + Bluetooth v5.3 (Class 1) providing fast connection to other devices. It also has the fastest cellular in the industry, up to 2Gbps 4G modem or 5.5Gbps 5G modem adds Sub6, C-band and mmWave.
