RuggON Vortex is a Vehicle Mounted Computer (VMC). VMC is widely used in Transportation (Public Bus, Train, Sanitation Truck, etc), Logistic (Van, Port tractor, Reach Stacker, RTG Crane, Heavy Duty Equipment, Warehouse Forklift, Mining Truck, etc) and Emergency Services (Police Car, Ambulance Vehicle, Fire Truck, etc).

The RuggON Vortex is a high-performance 7" vehicle-mounted computer built for extreme environments. Featuring an IP65-rated housing and MIL-STD-810H certification, it withstands dust, water jets, shock, vibration, and temperatures from -30°C to 60°C, making it ideal for fleet management, public safety, and industrial applications.
At its core, the Vortex has the Intel Atom x7211E dual-core CPU or optional Intel Raptor Lake Core i5-134SU processor (4.7GHz Turbo), paired with 8GB DDR5 RAM and optional M.2 SSD storage. The bright 7" capacitive touchscreen (500 nits) features auto-dimming for optimal visibility in any lighting condition.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, optional 4G/5G cellular, and optional multi-constellation GNSS with dead-reckoning support. Robust I/O includes Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0/2.0, RS-232, and M20-style waterproof connectors. The unit supports 9-60V DC input with vehicle power protection and features an internal battery for safe shutdowns during power loss.
Designed for mobile deployment, the Vortex includes five programmable buttons, VESA 75 mounting, and weighs just 1.67kg. Its compact form factor and rugged construction make it perfect for demanding applications in transportation, field service, and heavy equipment operations.
With Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or optional Linux OS option, the Vortex delivers reliable computing power. Available accessories include mounting kits and wireless antennas for complete system integration.
