Panasonic officially unveiled the new Toughbook FZ-G2 on the 14th of October 2021 in Australia.

Panasonic Toughpad G2 tablet is the result of the hard work to combine the reliability of FZ-G1 tablet, the modular design similar to the FZ-55 and versatility of the CF-20. The result is a groundbreaking modular product design that has three expansion areas (Top Expansion Area, Rear Expansion Area, SSD Pack) offering up to 36 different combinations to deliver the ultimate customised user computing experience. This gives users the peace of mind that they can adjust to changing requirements in the future.

The available modules are Barcode Reader, USB Port, LAN Port, Serial Port, Thermal Imaging Camera, Smart Card Reader, HF RFID Reader, 1TB OPAL SSD, 512GB OPAL SSD.

There are 4x Australian FZ-G2 models: Wifi model, Wifi + 4G model, Wifi + 4G + Dedicated GPS model and Wifi Hi-Specs Quick-Release model.

The FZ-G2 have been engineered to meet the new MIL-STD-810H certification. Not only it can withstand the hard knocks of life on the road, it can also operate flawlessly in intense sunlight and heat, as well as in dusty and dirty environments, pouring rain and freezing temperatures.

Running Windows 10 Pro, it has a rich set of business interfaces with additional customisable options to meet a worker's needs. With its long battery life and outdoor viewing, gloveenabled touchscreen, it's a versatile yet tough technology companion for any mobile workers.
