Designed to fit ergonomically in one hand, the new 8.1" Getac T800 G2 tablet has a 34% larger screen area than a typical 7" tablet. Weighing less than 900 grams it provides the perfect device when you need something small and easy to carry but easy on the eye when it comes to reading the screen.
The T800 G2 uses LumiBond 2.0 technology to achieve a display that is more readable and offers better contrast and more crisp colors. By bonding the display glass with the touch panel and LCD, Getac created a single panel that is more durable, minimizes glare and improves readability. Four advanced touch modes (Touch/Rain, Glove or Pen mode, plus an optional Digitizer mode) and the included hard-tip stylus enables user to capture signatures and take more precise notes on drawings, maps, or forms.
The T800 G2 has the unique SnapBack add-ons that adds the expandability of the device. Integrated as an extension to the T800 G2, you can add an extended battery or SmartCard + RFID or SmartCard + magnetic stripe reader SnapBack Add-ons. They are snap on and off easily without any no tools necessary.
Getac T800 G2 fully rugged tablet delivers up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. Additionally, you can have endless SnapBack battery add-ons (each providing an additional 10 hours) at ready for potentially infinite battery life. This allows you to keep working without ever shutting down your apps or the Windows OS.
Designed to be used in the field, every T800 G2 includes the latest 802.11ac WiFi for faster data transfer speeds and optional 4G LTE cellular data and dedicated GPS for faster location positioning.
For vehicle deployments, the T800 G2 can be configured with pass-through antenna ports allowing you to simultaneously connect high-gain GPS, WWAN and WLAN roof mounted antennas.
