Getac 14" Rugged Tablet is Back

Good news everyone. Getac has brought back the sorely missed 14" rugged tablet range from the ice. The new Getac G140 is currently the largest tablet in Getac's rugged tablet range. What's amazing is that Getac has managed to reduce the weight of the 14" rugged tablet model from 2.3kg (previous A140 model) to just 1.79kg while packing in more into the tablet.

With its narrow bezel, the Getac G140 provides a spacious 14" wide viewing angle display to provide user with the extra room to work with. Equipped with Smart Touch technology, the capacitive multi-touch display automatically adapts to finger, glove and stylus input without requiring manual switching between modes. This ensures seamless interaction across diverse working environments, from harsh outdoor conditions to industrial facilities.

Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI processors and AMD XDNA 2 architecture, the G140 optimised AI-powered performance allows user to keep up with the fast changing technology. The G140 can provide up to 50 NPU TOPS on-device AI real time data processing, predictive analysis and AI-assisted decision-making directly on the device.

Supporting up to 64GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage, the G140 handles data-intensive applications and multitasking with ease. Dual USB4 ports further enhance productivity by enabling ultra-fast data transfer, high-resolution display output and power delivery through a single versatile interface.

Working outdoor with the Getac G140 is not a problem, with 1000 NITS sunlight readable display and dual Li-ion batteries providing 63 Watt Hour as standard, and 94.5 Watt Hour for the optional dual high capacity batteries, the G140 provides a stable and reliable device to work the full shift away from the office.
